The Campaign

My campaign will be based on simplicity: talking to people and letting them understand that I am hard-working, straightforward and honest. Protecting the interests of all the citizens of Prince Rupert is the sole motivation for putting my name forward.

Although their support is welcome, I am not seeking the support of large interest groups or voting blocs, whether they be cultural, environmental, political, union or business. Therefore, I will not have large campaign machines working in the background on my behalf.

If you can identify yourself as a supporter and feel that I would be an asset to city council, then I encourage you to contact 5 friends and "chat them up" about who you will be voting for. At best, please encourage them to at least vote; the last Civic Elections had a 28% turnout province-wide. Surely we can improve on that. I am always available for any questions or discussions with voters.
